Diving, snorkeling, sunbathing, and relaxing with these two:
To celebrate his life:
We will be here for another week and I may write another post while I am relaxing, soaking up some sun, and sipping on mojitos or I may just be too busy blowing bubbles on some of the best reefs in the world. So to all my readers, if you don’t hear from me, its because I am doing exactly what my brother would have wanted me to do, living life with love and excitement surrounded by those I love the most. Miss you everyday, Nathan! 16 years just doesn’t seem real. Love you brother!
Embrace all the love and beauty in Paradise – Our hearts are with you!
Glad to see you are living life to the fullest Elizabeth, and honoring your brother. Are you keeping those elbows high on your freestyle strokes! 🙂 – Coach Tom Beck (still from Omaha)
Hi Coach Tom!!!!! Its great to hear from you! My husband and I just moved back to Hawaii after 8 months of travel (which I am assuming you saw since you found this blog) and a lot of our inspiration to travel came from losing Nathan and knowing that life can change quickly and sometimes you need to just get out there and do what you really want to do. I want you to know that I live by something you taught me all those years ago, “there is no such thing as I can’t, only I will”, its such a powerful message in a small package. Thank you for being an incredible Coach, you made me a better swimmer and a better person and you were quite frankly the best coach I ever had. If you ever make it out to Hawaii, we are in Kona, I would love to see you! I hope you are doing great! Aloha, Elizabeth 🙂
The next the family and I are out there we will try to make a stop there! My wife’s aunt and cousins run a great swim team in Oahu, the Kamehameha Swim Club, We’ve been out there twice and definitely want to get back soon. Thanks for the kind words, it made my day! And memory serves, happy late birthday (Groundhog Day, right?)! Take care Elizabeth. Freezing in Omaha, Coach Tom
